I actually think we'll be able to make it work. Our loft is about a block and half from a light rail stop, so my wife will take that to work (it also stops right in front of her hospital). Since I will be working from home, I won't need a car for my commute until I move to a local job. We'll still have our other car for shopping trips, grocery shopping, getting to/from IAH for rare MRs, etc.

I am now staying at the Wetsin, Sheraton Suites Synphony Hall and the Sheraton LJ. I considered the US Grant for $160 on the last night, but we need to leave early to drive up to SNA and the Sheraton LJ was $89 :-:
