Hate those days. Seems they are taking cues from CO on that end.

Looks like I get to make my way back to BNA this morning (actively in 12C). Checked bag due to conference presentation should be in BNA already. Will make an otherwise unnecessary trip to the office to renew my ID badge and get this expense reimbursement through the chain.

Don't wanna get ready.

Morning Box!

I'm back at work after a quick trip to RDU. What a fun little city. Ate some Carolina style BBQ, drank some really good local beers, and had a great time. ^

Very sorry to hear about the break-in LukeSkyWaiter.

Congratulations ALCO!! ^

Of course Dell doesn't support Linux on this model of laptop. That would make it too easy to figure out what model of video card is in it to obtain updated drivers.

g'day box.

Water was shut off to our office because of some busted  valve or something. yadda yadda yadda -- no coffee.:mad:

I quickly rectified that and procured a couple Box ' Joes.

I assume you know about this site - http://www.linux-laptop.net/. It usually has lots of older information but it can still be helpful.

Danke for all the congratulations. Back to reality day. Pile of work over a foot high, and I get to start Barbri review tonight (t00w ).

Sorry to hear about the break-in, LSW. Hopefully they catch the perps and recover your stuff.

One out of two isn't bad for a weekend.

Congratulations ALCO!

Now come the fun parts: the Bar exam and law practice.

Nope, that's a new one on me. I haven't run Linux on a laptop before, so that's pretty awesome. Thanks! ^

Though it just looks like links to reviews people have posted about running a certain distro on a laptop. I suppose that may be useful in the future, but I need to identify and obtain a driver package that will run the Mobility Radeon 9000 that is in the laptop, since Dell won't offer anything other than Windows support for it.
