At lunch, sometimes boys, sometimes girls. She has a fair amount of "boy" toys (trains, cars, Toy Story, etc.) but lots of princess, etc. I played with lots of "boy" toys growing up. I don't understand the double standard that girls can play with "boy" toys, but boys can't play with "girl" toys. I had a friend who's husband freaked when their son asked for a kitchen set after playing with ours.

Most of daughter #2's friends are girls, but when she was in preschool her best friends were boys. I have a picture of one of those boys wearing a suit of chain mail and one of those conical princess hats with the veil on top. That is being saved to send to his eventual wife in about 25 years.

The only real "boy toys" that we have are the various Playmobil sets that were being referenced this morning. My kids are very girly.

I think that I may go stab some Florentines in the gut before going to bed. :-:

I bet that's something you never though you would read in the box. :D (it's an xbox game).

You have no idea. When the younger one is a teenager, we're in for it.

I'm trying to fast post and the computer is giving me a blank screen and one ad. The weird part is that everything I attempted to post, posted.

I have a nice window next to the computer and I tell it all the time that it's heading outside for a long rest.

Occasionally, I get to be Princess Daddy. That's fun, too.

BL JR loves going to Astros games (heck, she likes watching baseball on TV). She started going to football games as a baby (watching her cousin) and still likes it. Hockey, can't get her hooked. We stayed at a hotel where hockey players were and the man in the elevator was talking about the Red Wings and Coach Mike Babcock. Her eyes just glazed over.

I'm sure his future wife will appreciate that ;)

Continuing the freezer clean-out, found some Weight Watchers chocolate mousse (actually, four of them). Only eating one today but ...

My kids are 2.5 years apart. When my daughter was playing dress up she would dress up her brother as a bride while she played the minister's role. We have quite a number of pictures of his cross dressing. :D

I so plan on blackmailing in later in life.

Busy night I see. I was going to multi quote but I don't have time.

Yea! Tomorrow is the last time I have to do the training class on interview skills. I hope never to set foot in that building again.
