How do you deal with that? I am almost positive that with the  way things tend to go for me, my wife and I will almost certainly have two girls, and then I am screwed because I know little of girl people. :-:

Reverse the sexual reference, and you have my fiancee's position on what she feels will happen to us.

:D BL JR played with boys growing up (fortunately, a girl moved in down the street to balance things a bit). When I ask her who she played with at recess, it's usually boys. At lunch, sometimes boys, sometimes girls. She has a fair amount of "boy" toys (trains, cars, Toy Story, etc.) but lots of princess, etc. I played with lots of "boy" toys growing up. I don't understand the double standard that girls can play with "boy" toys, but boys can't play with "girl" toys. I had a friend who's husband freaked when their son asked for a kitchen set after playing with ours.

Phudnik Jan 21, 2010 8:54 pm

I only had to cook one dinner today, down from the usual four.

ETA the accidental milestone! And I thought Firefox and FT combined to eat my quick reply.

Occasionally, I get to be Princess Daddy. That's fun, too.

Sounds like a humdinger.
