That is a great suggestion. ^

Is that the only day? There's still another weekend in the month if you need time.

I leave on Sunday for a trip to MCO for a conference -- staying at a Marri:mad:tt. I will be trade show booth eye candy.

I can relate.

I have practice. I use to work for NJDOT during the summers when I went to school. Technically I worked for the state of ND when I was an RA at school too.

:) I don't do old homes anymore. It has been more convenient having a builder to fix stuff.

Wow! Didn't realise it was that bad out there. Glad I did my MR on Tuesday. It started to rain just as we took off from SAN going back to IAH.

According to the reports, the SFO weather over the weekend got bad right after we got out of there. BOS was another story though...yes yes, recap to come, tomorrow (lots of free time, FINALLY).

Oh, I am so sorry. Ouch. Been there - not to the same extent, but you are so right about the "violated" feeling. I still sometimes look around a room and wonder what items the intruder looked at/touched/decided against swiping...

I sure do feel that way sometimes. Then again, I had a major identity crisis when I turned 20 because it sounded "so different than 19." :p

That would be me, as well. I had two sisters and went to a girls' school from PreK-Grade 12. I am slightly terrified of having a male child someday...

Just tell him that their kid will be a celebrity chef. Almost all of the household names are men, anyway.

Revised idea - toast dad in HR OC, then use the FFN somewhere that would have made him happy.

Only with a promise the celebrity won't come from being on Food Network ;)

Waikiki a week later is happening. He, unfortunately, hated Waikiki.

I may MR in Feb/Mar to get across Atlantic for a night --- HR Churchill was so freaking cool in August. ^

Hate to quote myself, but of course, I could stay at the new Andaz properties -- one in San Diego and one near Wall St. I could also Path to NJ to meet folks, too. Hmmm...

Will MR in Feb/Mar be worth it after Next Big Thing ends? I've now jumped in on the HR ORD $49 rate with 6,000 points but those options are few and far between.

I'm thinking of only staying in PH CHI one night (getting another HR ORD $49 / 6,000 night) and visiting NY but I hate flying into the NYC-area airports.

I will hit 1mm lifetime AA miles this year, if I only requalify for PLT. ^ I need some trips somewhere to assure I get there.

The Andaz runs I proposed after the first thought are more cost effective for the overall deals.
