Unless something's misaligned, a problem shifting usually isn't cheap. With my car being 11.5 years old and 189,000 with a single clutch I'm being pragmatic and accepting a new (well, new to me) car is indeed possible. Will see if there's anything reparable, and I can identify tomorrow (provided it doesn't rain).

Yes I get that - old cars are not cheap. But if you had the BA card - your car could have contributed to a trip overseas. :) :D :p |

It's not so much the sound as the rocking movement that tells you it's coming.

I still carry a Driver's Edge Charter MasterCard (was a Ford card from 1995 until they discontinued the program in 1998). Gives me 2% cash back when I do buy each replacement vehicle - new or used, dealer or private seller - and I keep it because it's my second oldest credit line. Entirely paid for a Camry wagon when I lived in VA and a motorcycle when I lived in Maryland (before I went to mileage cards).
Good night! I'm tired! |
