Plus1 - not showing up on the Forum home but I'm not going to doubt posting colleagues (unless given reason, of course).

How's this for grabbing a committee member's attention?

In the fall of 1996 at a high school in New Jersey, more than one thousand students sat in chairs listening to various teachers expound on the customary array of high school subjects. Only one out of those one thousand students, however, looked up at his US History I teacher and thought to himself, “That is what I want to do”. My name is Copa, and that moment brings me here to writing this essay. I am seeking admission to the Master of Science in Teaching program in the K-12 Social Studies track thanks in part to that moment.

How do I uninstall or remove Internet Explorer 8?

Do you ever run across sites the 'need' IE8 to work right, or do you have the IE View add-on for FF? (The IE Tab add-on hasn't been updated for FF 3.6 yet)

My regular browsing habits have not put me in a position to solely depend on IE8 for anything except one situation, which is a moot point since my time on that website is over and I am unlikely to return there. I downloaded the add-on (much thankage) and will reboot everything at some point this morning. :-:

My sister sent me a text the other day from a Marriott club lounge...apparently she made Gold for this year. I guess that's what happens when you live in a Residence Inn for 6 weeks during job training (i.e. she's clearly not going to keep it next year, at least not at this company).

I'm trying to think if I have ANY lifetime Marriott nights. I think I started doing SPG almost by accident a couple years ago, was gifted Gold status through something, and then just decided I wanted to keep it.

That, and my parents are W fans. I'm trying to get them to try out some of the other ones in NYC besides the "original" on Lexington (at which, to be fair, we have always been treated VERY well including some pretty sweet hook-ups when I told them that the whole family was in town celebrating the parents' 30th anniversary).

Good morning Box.

Just absolutely nailed the first interview for a potential new job...should have the second interview on Wednesday/Thursday next week. :D

The second sentence is speculation.

The third sentence makes me wonder why it takes the author almost 14 years to "bring [him] here" to write an essay. Also, a moment cannot "bring" someone to somewhere.

The use of the words "in part" in the fourth sentence results in an implicit contradiction of the second sentence.

Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY mnmag, and congrats for being born during the very best birthday week of the year! :D
