Well, that was exciting. I'm sure that Bourbon St. is somewhat reminiscent of the night that LSU won the national championship (one of my favorite memories from my years there, obviously). Off to bed - 'night, Box...

That's been my experience, though I am probably biased from having a five-minute drive to B-cubed vs. 20 mins to Target. The B-cubed's that have the drug-store-ish section have better prices than Target as well.

ETA stupid emoticons -- how do you put in the circumflex symbol? How can we express  to the  power?

I do as well but I tend to want an in-room backup in the hotel room. I don't tend to have problems setting alarms, though.

I consider using the BlackBerry as an alarm to be an act of kindness to whoever gets the room after me, since I'll almost certainly forget to disable the alarm clock, and I get up between 5:30 and 6:30 when I am traveling for work.

Fifteen years ago, we probably had the chart taped to the top (or side) of our monitors ...

My Blackberry is my home alarm clock and the first thing I do at a hotel is check to see if/when the alarm is set.

I have memorized a number of them because of the need to use accented letters and to reference prices in €, £, and ¥. Having said that, I just needed to look up "pounds" and "yen." I am lame.

Got home to find my FM Poster waiting for me. ^^^

Thanks for checking WN, icurhere2. I had checked them, as well, and was shocked to discover that WN charges up to $400 for any flight, much less a one-way.

Good to hear you made it H:-:me in time for a full night's rest (instead of jfk-bed)
