Yes it would but that would be too much trouble to make.

Some things are worth the trouble.

OK, my DCA-EWR flight at 11 am tomorrow got canceled - currently rebooked on the 6:59 pm departure (second last flight of the day).

Amtrak can be your friend, as Olton Hall notes.

Was a close game, but syr.edu ended up pulling it out in the end (TWSS).

With 'Nova losing, we're looking at a 2 or 3 ranking come tomorrow. :D^

Betty Crocker Chocolate Fudge Brownie mix in a 11x7 pan - 35 minutes, not a second more, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. :-:

Or your worst enemy as I've often found.

I did the NY - DC shuffle during the snow-storm at the end of Dec. and Amtrak was, by far, the worst option. The US shuttle ended up coming through for me.

Parking operation capacity: nearly 300 cars.

Cars currently under operation's control: 7.

My work history so far today: two cars pulled, $28 in tips, 3.8 slices of pizza consumed, 1 BBM, 1 FT post.

I no like.

The National Weather Service is issuing Winter Storm Watches for the Tuesday-Wednesday east coast blizzard. This time, PA/NY/NJ/CT should get the brunt of the storm. DC and Baltimore will also get significant snow, but the heaviest will fall north of there.

As long as I can get to PHL for our Thursday evening flight I'm happy with the weather...

Of course, I'm supposed to be in DC Tuesday night and I think there is a 48 hour cancellation window on my already very nicely upgraded hotel room...

More snow is not bothersome to me so long as my interview is not messed with and I get the bonus of no school on Wed. night.

Make sure you use your powers for good and not for evil. Have you tried playing the Powerball?

More to the point, Amtrak looks like they've canceled most of their WAS to NYP trains today. Tomorrow's schedule looks a little better. If I needed to get back by Tuesday AM, and I were booked on a 7 pm DCA to EWR, I might consider spending the afternoon at Union Station and seeing if Amtrak works better. It doesn't sound like time is of the essence for mwg25 except that she wants to get home by some time tomorrow night.

Glad I'm doing SEA and DEN this week, STL, ABQ, and ATL the respective three weeks after.

Why does CO let AA and DL rape them on the NYC-IAH route. My parents wanted us to come home for a family reunion in June and AA is $198 a/i while CO is $398 a/i. A few months ago I bought $160 a/i on DL when CO was $328 a/i.

CO owns that market and people are willing to pay it.

CO has a very loyal set of corporate customers and they travel on CO even when prices are cheaper elsewhere. Transcons are an even better example. Three-day advance on EWR-SFO/LAX are around $1100 while JFK is $200, and people still pay it.
