I can see that would be extremely difficult for a school-age daughter to deal with, especially if she was a young/mid/older teenager. I'm not sure I agree that his actions made him self-absorbed, though. It must be so difficult living in a body that ineherently doesn't feel right.

My Prof.'s kids were all grown adults and were incredbly supportive of him. He was a really very, very nice person and he just wanted to live his/her life honestly, and I can understand that.

:eek:

I think you may just have commited heresy or at the very least feigned interest in others :D

People stay in marriages that don't feel right for the sake of their children. Divorce can be a longer and more expensive process than sexual reassignment.

Don't disagree with either of these comments.

IAh TerminalLink to A update;

still a LONG ways off. Scott told me we will see it running its schedule for several months while we still have to take the bus.
:mad:

It is for safety of course, proving runs.

Yes, but divorce is 'accepted' by society. Transgenderism most definitely is not. Longer/more expensive is the least of the concerns as compared to someone who feels the need to complete sexual reassignment.

It will be a great day when everyone is accepted by everyone.

It wasn't canned. I've received PM's from him in the past alerting me to posts and threads that may be of interet to me.

I don't have an intelligent response for this. I can certainly see how "I want out of this marriage" and "I want to trade in my happy parts" are not equally weighted statements. That's all I got.

I'll consider it a major sociological achievement when two extreme wings of the same political party do not begrudge each other for identifying under the same label. Society is that far down the toilet.

Umm, OK. So you have Pandy for a virtual stalker.

Good afternoon, Box.

I just looked at two more condos, this time here in Hoboken. I have to say that just on the practical points, I'm leaning toward one of the units I looked at yesterday in West New York. I can get a newer, more well equipped and somewhat bigger unit for the same price outside of Hoboken. I'm not surprised by this and it makes the decision to leave Hoboken that much easier.
