I think my favorite part of the entire Oscars was the credits music. Some arranger had a field day with all those famous tunes. I want his job. :D (or the conductor's...)

That roach was probably Platinum Elite, and left behind miles that we are supposed to inherit!

Shameless bump request

Just ordered flowers. My 1800flowers order said I couldn't get miles, because I couldn't use promo code  Got the online box, who took forever to answer. Meanwhile, went on teleflora, which had a 500 mile bonus and no issues (and basically same boquet for the same $). I told the box thanks for trying, but I bought from Telaflora. It shouldn't be this difficult to earn miles! Did not mean thumbs up - duh!

A must see: Jimmy Kimmel and the Handsome Men's Club. For those of you on the west coast, see it. Too funny. Plus, the women should like it.

Sorry I am not getting to visit with the two of you at SFO. Maybe the GA can move you out of those middle seats.

I think I figured out what the problem was. We were booked on the same reservation with UA. When we checked in for our first outbound flight with CO we were separated (for EUA I assume) and now had two separate CO confirmations. UA did not know about this and it would not have mattered because we were flying UA the rest of the way. For then delayed return flight, when I called UA and they changed us to connect in LAX to a CO flight home, they gave me the same CO confirmation we had before CO split us off. UA claims they re-issued the CO ticket for two travelers but CO claims it was only for me. I finally got a supervisor to work on it with a conference call to UA and when we landed in LAX we were magically able to check in online, but into middle seats.

Lesson learned with UA/CO tickets. PURCHASE EACH TRAVELER SEPARATELY :-:

The nice agent(s) in LAX were able to shift several people around and we were able to sit together ^. We had the window and middle. The woman is the aisle was a large woman who spilled over into the s/o’s seat, could not put the armrest down, needed a seatbelt extender and smelled as if she urinated herself. I am fairly confident if we had flown WN, they would not have allowed her to board without purchasing an additional seat.

We are trying to plan a trip out to SFO soon. Hopefully that one will go more smoothly.

I am really impressed at how easy it was to get the ICC agents at UA reroute us. It took very little coaching on my part to get the HNL-LAX-EWR routing with UA/CO. Their first offer was the CO nonstop, but it was departing too late for us and we both did not want to miss an additional day of work.
