My frankenboot was prettier, but worn way too long. Finding a shoe to go on the other foot that keeps the height the same is key.

Too many milkshakes = "Milkshake Goggles"?

Hope there's no slicing and dicing and Super Glue involved :-:

Ugh, I hope not. From what I've read the sliding and dicing is only required if the tendon has been completely ruptured.

Ouch - that sounds painful! Da boot also has the potential to stop me from being able to drive (it's my right foot) and it would also likely force me to cancel/postpone my ANC plans.

He can't make it over until the afternoon, but that's fine because my wife will be at work and I have a doctors appointment to get my foot checked out so we won't be around most of the morning.

I think I've self-diagnosed my foot issue pretty accurately and it involves a torn tendon. I have a feeling I am going to become good friends with this guy over the next several weeks.

Hope you heal quickly. The good news is, it's rare to tear a tendon and break a bone; the bad news is, a torn tendon hurts like %@$!!!!!

Since I'm not going anywhere for St. Paddy's Day, the milkshakes sound like a good thing to have

Glad to see "In the Loop" nominated for something (though didn't win). If you haven't seen it, rent or buy it! ^

I love that movie and the TV show The Thick Of It that it's based on. I noticed they didn't use a Malcolm Tucker clip. They didn't want all the beeps?

I'll be in Nebraska; I'll need something stronger than these milkshakes ;)

Our favorite milk stout comes from Left Hand. It is amazing stuff!

The nearest place I can get it, according to their website, is on the way to or from ABE. Of course, I have little reason to go there now that CO pulled ABE-CLE.

I may have to call the Spoetzl Brewery tomorrow in my continuing quest to find Shiner Bock for me and Copa.
