I think I figured out what the problem was. We were booked on the same reservation with UA. When we checked in for our first outbound flight with CO we were separated (for EUA I assume) and now had two separate CO confirmations. UA did not know about this and it would not have mattered because we were flying UA the rest of the way. For then delayed return flight, when I called UA and they changed us to connect in LAX to a CO flight home, they gave me the same CO confirmation we had before CO split us off. UA claims they re-issued the CO ticket for two travelers but CO claims it was only for me. I finally got a supervisor to work on it with a conference call to UA and when we landed in LAX we were magically able to check in online, but into middle seats.

Lesson learned with UA/CO tickets. PURCHASE EACH TRAVELER SEPARATELY :-:

The nice agent(s) in LAX were able to shift several people around and we were able to sit together ^. We had the window and middle. The woman is the aisle was a large woman who spilled over into the s/o’s seat, could not put the armrest down, needed a seatbelt extender and smelled as if she urinated herself. I am fairly confident if we had flown WN, they would not have allowed her to board without purchasing an additional seat.

Yikes!

Glad you & SO were at least got to sit next to each other!^

Always good to have a target in mind. That's Memorial Day 2011, eh?

Thank you, sir. ^^ Sunday of that weekend, the 29th. It was either that or July 17th. Had we picked July, we would have been getting married on her parents' 40th anniversary. Nice symbolism, but we both hate humidity.

Tacky beyond compare.

I did barely hear her get introduced; it was right before I fell asleep and the TV was loud enough. All I heard was her name, nothing before. I think I missed the content of the intro because the fiancee was tinkering with our wedding website. When the front page comes up, the first 30 seconds of "You" by Rascal Flatts plays. I must have heard that at least a dozen times last night as she was tweaking code and previewing each tweak. We're both self-taught at FrontPage.

Quickie drop-in before I leave the house; amazingly enough I have time for such. I set a record in the morning grooming ritual department this morning after walking into the bedroom door.

Morning, Box. Thanks again to all for the various good wishes. :)

Mornin', box.

Up unnaturally early back in CLE today.

This trip was my first TATL in Y in a couple of years and I have to say......LH was not too bad at all. My buddy and I had adjacent seats outside on a 2-4-2 config..... Free booze, average food, pleasent service.

And we got on the ground in EWR a full hour early, thus allowing us to bump up to a flight into CLE 5 hours earlier! :)

All in all a nice trip.

PRG is much more fun than VIE, btw.

Good morning box.

Going to be a tough week at work so I've done my Monday morning stall by taking a very long shower.

Add mine to the list. Good luck, CM!!

Good Morning, Box.

First appointment this morning is downtown and I'm staying up in Buckhead, so I get to travel on MARTA today. It's actually been a couple years since I've taken it as most of my clients are in Buckhead, so I best leave a few extra minutes this morning to get reacquainted.

Still trying to catch up on the several days of teh Box that I missed last week, and now I see you guys added another couple dozen pages yesterday.

Olton Hall Mar 8, 2010 5:32 am

Good morning Box. It seems to be a full of energy type of day. Well at the current time it seems that way. I'm sure commuting will find a way to suck it all out.

Phudnik, what was that beer you were looking for? Shiner's?

Copa was looking for Shiner Bock, which is not available in New Jersey. It is, however, available in Pennsylvania. Since I need a project that doesn't involve responding to RFPs, I volunteered to look for it, with no success. The hunt continues.

On the main CO forum page, click on the number of posts in the Box, and a popup will show you the handles of everyone who has posted in this thread and the number of times they have done so.

My wife and I share an anniversary with my parents. Not on purpose but it worked out that way on the calendar when we were scheduling things.

Hope you're having fun at work this morning.
