I think I figured out what the problem was. We were booked on the same reservation with UA. When we checked in for our first outbound flight with CO we were separated (for EUA I assume) and now had two separate CO confirmations. UA did not know about this and it would not have mattered because we were flying UA the rest of the way. The nice agent(s) in LAX were able to shift several people around and we were able to sit together ^. We had the window and middle. The woman is the aisle was a large woman who spilled over into the s/o’s seat, could not put the armrest down, needed a seatbelt extender and smelled as if she urinated herself. I am fairly confident if we had flown WN, they would not have allowed her to board without purchasing an additional seat.

Up unnaturally early back in CLE today.

This trip was my first TATL in Y in a couple of years and I have to say......LH was not too bad at all. My buddy and I had adjacent seats outside on a 2-4-2 config..... Free booze, average food, pleasent service.

And we got on the ground in EWR a full hour early, thus allowing us to bump up to a flight into CLE 5 hours earlier! :)

All in all a nice trip.

PRG is much more fun than VIE, btw.
