Mrs. Mackie ordered the lamb but almost returned it when she tasted my pork chop. :-:

Oh, and UA blurs the AA logos apparently in their version. Tacky much?

AA blurred the logos too. Equal opportunity blurring.

Good morning Box.

:rolleyes: that most likely means then that the distributor/production house did it for airline edit in generally to be more 'acceptable' to all the airlines.

I need a day to allow my mid-section to decompress. Over the course of the weekend, I have subjected myself to:

Berryhill's Baja Grill Tacos, Enchiladas & Tamales;
Hollywood Vietnamese & Chinese Restaurant's Vietnamese Fajitas;
Perry's Steakhouse Pork-Chops;
A pile of Greek Food at Niko Niko's;
Home-Cooked Lamb, Pomegranate & Cinnamon Tagine; and
Countless Pints of Margaritas, Dark Beer, and Wine.

Bring on Teh Gout. :-:

That does make for a nice weekend but the company was even better I am sure!!

This, allegedly, is a Pork-Chop:

I don't know what sort of growth-hormone-enhanced mutant hogzilla they had to create to make it. I just know it is sublimely tasty.

NICE!!

I liked Copa, kinda like dating a twin.
Service was darn good(little slower than used to)as was the food and beverage selections. Didm't hurt that a couple FAs were muy muy bonita
Had no little critter issues.^

Zihuatanejo?

Mexico. Little place right on the Pacific. You know what the Mexicans say about the Pacific? They say it has no memory. That's where I'd like to finish out my life, Red. A warm place with no memory. Open a little hotel right on the beach. Buy some worthless old boat and fix it up like new. Take my guests out charter fishing.

GREAT MOVIE

Under fozz' couch cushions, apparently. :-:

I am wondering what I can do with 40k QF points.

If their OneWorld Partner Reward Chart is the same as BA's, that's enough for a J roundtrip within South America (including IPC). :-:

:D

Though, that would require a couch... under the cushion of 1A may be more appropriate.

Actually, turns out I have two other accounts.

The first find was due to a second Hyatt card found while rummaging through things. I pulled it up and it all my Hyatt activity from 2000-2002.

I called into the Gold Passport line and they found a third account, which also had orphaned points. The guy is combining them all into one. Not bad, found almost 20k in points.

I wish someone had a lifetime platinum CO account for me. :o

And the B&J may be a novelty (only 30 minutes does seem pretty craptacular for an industrial engineering tour) but still one of those things I've wanted to see for a while. For $75 all in on the ticket and car I have a lot of options for how to spend the ~8 hours up there.

Dairy processing in general is pretty cool, in the "wow, there's a lot of stainless steel plumbing in here" kind of way. With the exception of open-vat cheese making (which you may or may not see at Cabot), pretty much everything runs in closed systems. I've done the Blue Bell tour before, and it's OK, but we've got cooler equipment in our plants. :D

It's a shame Kraft normally doesn't give tours of plants. We've got some pretty cool gear. We've got things like this:

http://kottke.org/09/09/robotic-pancake-sorter

only it's not doing pancakes, and it runs at 1000+ picks/minute

Morning Box!

I received X Plane 9 for my birthday, so that pretty much sucked up my weekend.
