I'm embarrassed to admit I've never tried beer in a marinade. I might have to try it sometime soon though.

Neither have I -- but am game to try!^

So basically, if you want a TJ with alcohol in NJ, live within 10 minutes of Summit.

No liquor licenses in Millburn or FP -- only Westfield!:rolleyes: NJ goes on a town-by-town basis -- w/liquor licenses!

Ah...I forgot about that part about living in NJ. Fortunately there's a liquor store in Murray Hill that has a decent enough selection for a simple person like me.

Evening, box! We've had a mini Christmas celebration for stuff we didn't want to haul out west. It's been way fun and Plus1 did well with a little blue box ;)

Working on packing (for three trips and two weeks; I have five bags packed with at least another two to go and that doesn't include anything that belongs to Plus1) so that puts us to 8, plus a booster seat. If we weren't elite, what would we do? Ship UPS I guess! ;)

A very Merry Christmas to those who celebrate it; and to others, Happy Holidays!!!! I *HEART* the box!

Sounds like you are doing better, today! Have a wonderful Christmas & safe travels!^;)

I actually like to buy wines at Costco or Sam's Club -- again, in towns where they have liquor licenses!

My father tends to stock up on wine at Costco.

I have bought some bottles of Johnnie Black there...the beer selection at my local Costco is rather  though.

Beer is really spotty -- wine, OTOH, can be really good at times.

We got some cheap bottles of Santa Margarita there a few weeks ago...cheapest I've seen it.

We went to a Carneros wine tasting, and found some of the wines at 20-30% less than at the tasting. Plus, they have 30-40 bottles rather than the typical wine place that may have 5-10.
