aloha box.

Had an interesting one this morning. I thought the FA and GA were going to get into fisticuffs when the GA couldn't properly deploy "the bridge" between the jetway and the door to the prop.

After about 20 min. the FA said "just admit you're incompetent and get some help." While perhaps very accurate, this was, apparently, the wrong thing to say.

yadda yadda yadda, the FO ended up jumping between the two of them and got the whole thing calmed down. Had we been in my high-school, someone would have lost their weave. We ended up compromising and walked across an unsecured jet bridge.:eek:

The best part of this whole experience was the CoCo FA's last name was one in the same with a certain "side show" character with a voice over done by Kelsey Grammar. I'm sorry, but I can't take someone with that last name seriously.

Keep it classy CoCo. :-:

Ship 425 to PHX, DirecTV bird. TV looks fun, and ship almost has new plane smell. Remarkably bright and clean inside.

Awesome city. I'd love to go back!

Good morning Box.

It's a tad cold here this morning. Windows of the car are iced over, frost on the roof and the dog is under the covers.

As I dashed thru the CPH airport last summer I was impressed with it's look. I really wanted to spend some time exploring it. Too bad we build such boring airports in the USA.

The UAUA conf call is pretty boring (no real surprise). They are getting 787-800s. Not entirely sure why no one is going for the 900s.

I think I'm on the same plane to PHX.

Made my PHX flight with about six minutes to spare before door closure.

There you go. You should blame the new FT recruit for distracting you. ;)

Not to nit-pick, but I believe it's just -8 and -9 for the 787s.

I can't help but wonder how CO feels about the A350 order. They're obviously a long ways off, but still...

Thanks very much - only question is how I will get home and if the VDB amount is worth giving up F on the last segment.

On IAH-PHL, even a $250 VDB is worth giving up the F seat.
