So, how was the clam linguini?!;):D white or red?!:D

The clam linguini was excellent for an $11.95 entree (have to love many things about Tennessee). And the choice was indeed white sauce.

Good afternoon Box. I managed to keep the people in the work shop awake today. That's a major accomplishment as most of them had been at work since 8 AM Yesterday and worked outside in the cold over night.

A note about the word Do. Many people think it's a FT term and I know it's not. They actually use the term "... is having a holiday Do" in the most recent Harry Potter movie.

Just got a TripAlert. For my flight at 18:00.

Currently looking at a 45 minute delay.

With this wind I'm surprised they have since dropped your 45 minute delay.

Just had an incredibly interesting and informative off-the-record phone call.

My life gets more interesting by the minute.

ETA: Maybe that phone call worked and fended off the TSA. Another TripAlert has me back on time. :D

So interesting!;):-:

I'd say I'm about 75%.

Primarily business travel ex EWR or LGA. Most of the time on refundable, "insta-upgrade" fares (B). But I usually book within 3 days of travel, which handicaps me.

That is actually much better than I expected out of EWR itself.:-: If one can throw in some CLE and IAH at off times, should be able to do quite nicely I'd think with EUA.^

Oh yeah, absolutely. If I went and anyone from The Box wanted to join me, I would have my mother do everyone's tickets.

That would be sooo cool! ^ But probably not doable in the foreseeable future -- for me!:(

It's a smidge lower than where I was as a US1 flying out of LGA. But I really can't complain much about the CO EUA's*.

*this statement excludes the following exceptions:
  • companion upgrades
  • actually purchasing tickets in F cabin
  • insta-upgrades generating receipts showing booked in the F cabin
  • irr. ops. and upgrades (although I'm usually just thankful to be leaving)

I thought it went fine but first dates are a bit awkward. And she had to leave early as she had the 0530 - 1730 shift today (three 12-hour shifts per week).

I bet one indeed could do very well on EUAs, especially when combined with schedule flexibility and SDCs when another flight seemingly is not going to clear.

How many of the denizens of the B:rolleyes:x had a 90% or better upgrade rate this year on CO for EUA eligible flights? In this case, one need not discount due to the regionals. I am interested. I never get a true sense of how CO FT Elites are really doing with all of the "noise" on the main forum.

My sig is pretty accurate and I dont think I included my single RJ (RDU-IAH) flight for 2009.

I was 20/25 for true EUAs though I sat in the back on two of those (gifted the F seat to others). I also had an OpUp on EWR-HAM and a lie-flat coach for both me and my wife on EWR-CDG.

Considering that all my tickets were WESTNL fares (and probably only STNL) I'm pretty happy with those numbers. I'm currently #1 on the waitlist for tonight looking at a fully booked F cabin. :(

How does a Star partner's website recognize partner status? If I book this goofy SAT run, and I book positioning on US, how do I inform useless.com that I am *G via CO? Ain't no way I fly US not in an exit row since CO status won't get me F.

The delay was because the inbound (from SAN) was listed as late. They managed to get off the ground a bit earlier than originally expected and it has some nice tailwinds. Even off the ground 65 late it will arrive 17 late.

When I would enter my UA MP No. when I was 1P, USeless.com recognized me as *G.
