I've never transited HAM, but it's relatively small and has a GORGEOUS terminal. The food in the landside restaurant/cafeteria was truly the best airport food I've ever had.

At the Waldorf-Astoria Trianon Palace (a Hilton hotel), I would have accepted a mint as a check-in amenity. And I have multiple letters from the manager at Park Hyatt welcoming Professor icurhere2.

There's a lot of hotel discretion - Hyatt Places have to offer a food and beverage amenity but that can range from fruit plate and juice to dinner and adult beverage. I take the points if offered the first and sometimes choose the latter if the hotel offers.

Hey, b:rolleyes:x -- if I stay at a Hyatt in December does the stay under the current big promo count towards 2 nights of my qualification next year? In other words, if I want to qualify for Diamond next year do I have to get 25 night credits Jan 1 to Dec 31, 2010 or from now through Dec 31, 2010? I thought I read somewhere that the stays under the Big Thing promo counted towards next year, but I can't find any reference to that now...

I read the T&Cs to mean they still count in calendar year - that's why I start my DC area run on 1 Jan. I think SPG's promo was counting in 2009 and 2010.
