I only do IC because they are 'everywhere I need to be' not because it is great, although the IC hotels are good, and they have some nice brands. I enjoy being able to get a staybridge suite for $60 a night and have a 2 bedroom, full kitchen, etc, and have lunch and dinner available should I want it ^ Also had top notch customer service with all IC, even my ONE HIE stay(and no HI stays)

Yes, that is why I have stayed with Hilton as long as I have, beacuse of the availability of Hamptons and HGIs in some of the smaller cities I need to be in. However the new award redemption levels are the last straw.

Sorry if this has been discussed previously, but I've heard bits and pieces of a new HHonors Q1 promo - four stays or ten nights earns a free night. Has anyone heard any further details on this yet?

That would be a pretty lame promo IMHO.

Same reason I tend to roll with Marriott over SPG as a primary hotel program. SPG just doesn't have the property density I need.

yea that too, it is like the electric closet at TTU

When I post the trip report with photos, you'll get to determine whether it's worth 50,000 or 60,000 HHonors points.

Hilton has the right properties in the right places for me, but compared to the bonuses, etc. of other programs it's rather sucktastic.

Speaking of smaller cities, I've mentioned that I've been elite with Choice due to the nature of my work.

And I was still 30+ pounds heavier then. ConciergeMike can probably tell you I was running from the PHL terminal (get me out of here).

That's a great promo, but unfortunately it looks like the only place I'll be in January where a Hyatt is a possibility is Frankfurt.

I can feel it...

I would agree but I have been Hilton bashing lately.

Ahhh -- SPG is the one with rollover nights. I had them confused with Hyatt...!!!
