Greetings from the LM BCN. When we arrived around 8:00am, we were told our room would be ready around 9 or 9:30. They gave us a coupon for some free cappuccinos and invited us to wait in the hotel's cafe. Since we're both exhausted we decided to hang out here so we could nap as soon as our room was ready. 9:30 came and went and now we're just being told they have no idea when our room will be ready and that their check in time isn't until 2:30p. :mad: :mad: :mad:

The DL flight over was fine but those seats are not at all conducive to sleeping. Before push back, the lead FA came around and greeted all of the DL PM by name and presented us with a BusinessElite amenity kit. I had to laugh as it was the first flight I was actually crediting to my DL PM account. :) Nice touch though...

A rough travel start. Was already in the parking garage at CLE when I realized I forgot my carry on. Not enough time to go back for it. I guess the next three days in MSY I'll have to go without laptop, book, itinerary info, sunglasses, lipitor, and .. *gasp* ..Valium......ugh.

We're up this morning. I feel OK -- better than last night. He has no fever, just a cough, swears he's up for going to DC, so we're going to make a run at it. Of course, this morning it's raining in Atlanta and DC is getting freezing rain, which should end around noon and turn to just rain, so we'll see how this goes.

No pups yet. Mom's breathing like a locomotive. Wife has her hands full today. I get to go to work (I always disliked Obstetrics).

On a different note. I will be staying in EWR for a short period of time in 2 weeks and I found a $69 fare on for Fairfield Inn on a booking site. Since Marriott has a lowest price guarantee, I called them and they said they would check it out which they did while I was on the phone and they agreed that the rate was lower than their $139 rate :rolleyes:. They said they would get back to me but I have not heard anything. Am I the victim of a leg lengthening event? OR is this a Marriott shenanigan?

I actually have never had any issues at all with Vista. However, I did upgrade my home PC to Windows 7 earlier this week, two months after Dell sent me the upgrade disk, and I am really loving it. But as far as Vista goes, it's always run flawlessly for me. My only real complaint was with the overly aggressive Windows Defender prompts.

My good fortune may have been mostly related to putting a ton of memory, a super fast processor, and a high end graphics card into this computer when I ordered it. I've been on a few Vista machines where the user has tried to turn on every feature in Aero and doesn't have the memory, processor, or graphics card to support it.
