Yep, I found it. I got too excited too fast. I saw Steph3n posting it was only ten nights, but it is actually 25 for me. I don't know that I can amass that and keep my Marriott status up to at least Gold. Combine that with the serious outflow of cash due to buying the house, and I think I'll be sticking with Marriott for the foreseeable future.

Then when house repair bills start coming in you'll be staying at home or booking on priceline. :D

Yep, I figure that's how it will go. Buying a house does not mean more travel, that's for sure.

I wish UA would go ahead and process my 3P status. I want to see what fun toys it offers.

Don't get too excited.

The ability to book E+ and/or exit rows at booking makes me warm inside. I have simple needs. :)

If you do it in January it's really 13 nights as they count double through January 31 after you sign up for the Big Thing promo. You can also buy certs for $50 credit at Hyatt hotels for $40. They are available at Costco.

Greetings from the IAH B PClub. Twiddling my thumbs until the 13:15 LIT flight. At least I have coffee and shortbread. :D^

I want to know why Steph3n thinks he only needs ten stays. I've got the same credit card and Hyatt status as he does and my stay counter is at the number of stays I've actually earned.

Bummer about the check-in. I don't know where you are staying, but the street side is rather noisy, even at 4am.

We finally got a room around 11:15 when a manager overheard that we had been waiting for one all morning. A few clicks, and he was able to help the receptionist find us a room that would work. ^

Not only are we on the street side, but we're also on the 1st floor (technically 2nd floor since we are in Europe) so the noise should be quite interesting. The receptionist mentioned that they should be able to move us to a quieter room tomorrow so we'll see how it goes. We were just thankful to get a room with a bed and shower!

Did you get the code for free Internet?

Good morning, boys and girls. Happy New Year and safe travels to all.

Valet parking certainly does have its upside - I get to drive in Center City Philly all day and ogle the women and their boots. Plus my garage has a Dunkin' on its opposite corner. :-:

Tweaked my back moving furniture for the other half, gotta work 2-10, and then turn around and go back in at 8am. I keep telling myself that it's good to be working and that I'm doing what I have to. That being said, I come home every night and look for jobs.

We will soon find out if I bought the correct size in long underwear.

And now comes the part where I brave the cold yet again...

I got a mail about it, trying to find to document it but looks I deleted it :(

It was from CO, not Hyatt, about benefits of having PPlus card, Diamond being only 10 stays away.

A good summary of the situation with Mike Leach, so good I wish I had written it.

I keep all my email, so unless it somehow ended up in the SPAM folder I'd have it ... I can't find it, though.
