I have a flip-phone with 12 buttons on it (0-9, # and *). It can be used to call other people. :-:

It is exceedingly unfair to have to drive by a Krispy Kreme every morning and not be able to stop. It is equally difficult to know that there is a shelf full of cookies, crackers, and other assorted wonderful things and a cooler full of sodas that I cannot partake of.
Being fat is . |

I've been stuck with that since I lost my Blackberry 8830 in the layoff and it has been hell, let me tell you. I long for the day of getting my sweet, sweet Crackberry goodness back in my hand.

All my travel is for leisure, though, and there's really no point in being "connected" to my work email after hours.

Yeah, but if I'm going to change carriers and pay to get out of a contract, I'll probably just get an iPhone.
I looked at the Motorola CLIQ, which is their Android device for T-Mobile, but they've customized the Hell out of the OS for that device, and you really can't undo any of that and take it back to the baseline OS. I'm fine with some, but not all, of what they did, but apparently it's all or nothing, and they make it difficult to go the nothing route. |

I've never understood teh Crackberry hype. I don't text much, or email much, and find the screens on souped-up phones (even iphones) too small to enjoy teh interwebz.
I don't even know who I would text, assuming that I even had the capability to do so. It is faster for me to speak than it is to type anyway.

Work is work; it is not my life. Every weekday at 5:30 pm (or before, if I can help it), I stop working. No emails, no phone calls, no work. More people should try it. As far as I am concerned, if you want me to be accessible at all hours of the day (and night), then you need to pay me about 5 to 10 times more than what you are now. |

I'm very good about using my crackberry to check and see what's lurking in the inbox. Can I doddle on my way to work and stop at Dunkin' or is there something pressing? It's also great when traveling to look up things like seat maps. Having a work crackberry is no different than a work cellphone. And, I'm very good about not picking up the phone during off hours as well as simply turning it off. But, yes, occasionally I'm not as disciplined with it as I'd like to be and I peck out a reply at a bad time. |

ETA - I don't have a TV or Cable/Satellite/etc., either. LOST is about the only show I'm interested in watching, and I can catch it on abc.com at my own leisure. |

Syllabus has a "grade per day" penalty, so it's bad form to not adhere to such.
