Greetings from Courtyard Marriott downtown.
How is the Boardroom? Worth going? When do they close? I'm on the red eye tomorrow.

The Hilton in Hurghada, Egypt is $250/night. Or 20K HH points/night. Yeah, even I know that's a good deal on points.

Bit late for soup, some crackers, goldfish, and ranch dressing, then of course beer/wine(not my thing) and self server soda/juices.

The Bay Bridge sudden closure yesterday afternoon, due to a cable snapping/breaking failure, created much traffic today. Took me an hour to get to Palo Alto, which usually takes 20 minutes. I have two ways out of my town but the faster way was totally blocked with cars coming off the San Mateo Bridge, the new way to get across the Bay.
The Bridge might be repaired by tomorrow afternoon and then they need to stress test it. They did know that failed cable was moving but they didn't have a chance to repair it before it snapped in this high wind we were having. The temps tonight are going to be in the 30's. I just might have to turn the heater on. |
and boom goes the dynamite.
