TATL JV: Many more opportunities for carriers in JVs. Didn't think so until 4-5 years ago. Now know they have to be in one.

Someone is asking US how they fit in... HAHAHAHA

^ Classic!

I can't imagine the rest of the CEOs are proud to have Doug sitting up there with them.

He doesn't seem too happy but a nice diplomatic answer.

sbm12 Oct 27, 2009 9:25 am

@US - How do you fit?
Well. We dont' really compete too much with Co and what is good for *A is good for US.

@AI - When are you actually joining?
Expect to complete in 2H 2010.

Definitely. The simplicity of MSP-CLT-ORD-SEA-GEG-SFO-CLT-MSP this past weekend turned out to be quite nice. Although, it did include a ton of time on US.

Pomegranate Martinis make it okay.

@Kellner - How will this help in the Caribbean?

We have lots of coverage in LatAm and Caribbean and can share some with US, too.

Hey - I read the stickies! But that's because I'm nuts!

Hey sbm12,

Thanks for all of the restaurant recommendations for HNL. We leave Wednesday, and we will certainly use at least one of them. Did you have a good trip?

I am taking a grim reaper costume on the trip -- tihs is worse than our going to multiple Jimmy Buffett concerts.

Upgraded on AA both ways -- club lounge (with booze) at hotel. Life is good!

Hi Trustguy! Nice to see you in the Box! Enjoy HNL!

I gave up on the gentle traps and went straight to the good ol' fashion snap trap after the lil buggers went crazy in our basement. Got one within 12 hours....

Get a cat!

The (female) FA gave me a weird look when I ordered one. Perhaps it is a bit of a feminine drink? :D

One reason the CO isn't working on the plane is that normally it's next to Continental over the work Airlines instead of just Continental.

Jeff looks like he's about to ralph.

@LH Guy - With competition/ATIs under review by authorities in EU/US, is *A getting too big?

ATIs and alliances are good for the customer so we don't mind authorities looking but they're not going to find problems.

Tilton adds - Review was very rigorous and it was still approved. So we're here to stay. The new DL is big enough that it demands a competitive response.

Brituchenite Oct 27, 2009 9:29 am

Hey Mackieman, did I miss something? did you get a job?

I hope so!
