No PHs in MAD - not even any Hyatts in MAD. Not exactly the best coverage of the region.

There was a big stink about BPL in ham radio circles a few years back. On several licensed ham bands, harmonics from BPL transmissions made those bands almost unusable. I think this was mitigated some by better antenna engineering and simply not being so close to power lines, but I haven't heard much uproar in the last couple of years.

Nope, they're still pissed off.

Not to tick off the HAM radio operators but with my pay decrease as of the end of next month, the opportunity to save $30 a month on broadband internet is pretty compelling as part of the overall austerity program.

From as low as 250 euro a night. AmEx still has it listed as a PH, though. And does anyone in the Box use LHW? They had the colossally bad promotion recently ...

I'm off to cook a late lunch - some nice Argentinian cow. Bought a lot of great food at the supermarket yesterday for less than $30 USD (8 steaks, bag of seafood, three seafood boxed appetizers, pineapple, mushrooms, two bags of seasoned potatoes with instructions in Dutch only, three sodas).

Hmmm did not know the The(Park Hyatt) Villa Magna was no longer a Hyatt Property. It was a PH when I was there on a FFN stay in '05 ^
