I wasn't invited apparently. :(

The exit seats on DL’s 752 (ex-TWA) were awful. Hard as a board. I had to alternate cheeks so I would not get spasms . The tray table also cut into my gut and was very uncomfortable. I am a big guy (vertical not girth) and this made realize that it is time to hit the gym. :-:

Neither was I. I registered through the link that Brituchenite shared.

If you downgrade from Amex plat to gold do they change your card number? I suspect so. What a pain ... but think of the money I'd save...

I went the other way with the same card number.

I really need to get some of those. I have only seen one in real life, and that was at the MR seminar last weekend. I have yet to meet someone in the airport or on a flight who sports an FT luggage tag.

Most of us on the Labor Day ZRH run had these visible.

sbm12 sports an FT tag on his camera bag, IIRC. Given my reputation for calling out stupidity and self-importance, I have declined the FT tag option in life.

Actually not so bad - makes your own bag very identifiable (as they aren't prevalent in the wild).

I must've missed that post. I am sure I'd miss most of it anyways since I work until 8pm so no love lost.

ZRH was fun but I wish I went to MAD or BCN instead.

Or? Why not all three? Sadly, I don't think there's a Park Hyatt in Spain yet.

I'm a pretty big guy (both ways) and sat on the unopened blanket across the pond.

Coming home took us two hours longer - headwind, sitting on tarmac for 40+ minutes waiting for a gate, etc.

I signed up to go, but it's MissTeenBrit's 17th birthday, so am taking her out to celebrate instead.

We landed about 45 minutes early on both flights but sat on tarmac at JFK for about 45 minutes after landing.

On the other hand, mnmag persuaded me to have a cocktail in the PC club prior to the PHX flight, and I ended up with a rotten migraine which necessitated bringing in the big gun pharma before the MR seminar. Turns out I didn't realise the cocktail contained champagne, and while I love champers it gives me a rotten migraine these days... :(

Oh yeah -- I guess I forgot about the 'arm-twisting' I had to do to
'force' you to drink the yummy cocktail!;) OK, but I had no idea of your 'allergy' to the real stuff -- champagne!

I had to work hard at that last multi-quote -- had to 'tone down' the emoticons! Won't do that again!:D - yeah, right -- here it is, again!
