... and, before I go on to quotes, do not believe anything mnmag said about me. I was the model of decorum for the entire MR seminar ....:D;):cool::p

Happy birthday to sfogatebag. :)

My parents bought a 1962 Mercedes C190. I don't really know why. Apparently, it's, "cute."

If you let your membership expire, you still have 2 years to generate activity in the account or to use the funds. ^

Bummer. Sorry to hear that Mackieman.

I'm not watching a lot of football, but I found myself reading last week's Tuesday Morning Quarterback. The media does nothing to impress me with its intelligence, save for TMQ. Those of you not on the TMQ bandwagon, you should consider hitching your wagon. His photo selections of NFL and college cheerleaders are also never-fails...

Just got my FT luggage tags! :D

I really need to get some of those. I have only seen one in real life, and that was at the MR seminar last weekend. I have yet to meet someone in the airport or on a flight who sports an FT luggage tag.

This was before the Sheraton was Possible

Interesting you should say that (and thanks, by the way). Within two hours of my latest rejection, I have secured two more phone interviews. Proverbial stones on the way up the mountain of employment sure, but any steps forward are steps up. ^

Keep pushing those stones up the hill. One day, you'll be riding them downhill, whoose, straight into a plum job.

I do :p

ETA: I also put one on a bag I used to share with my dad when I lived in Houston. He got stoped one time by another FT'er and he claimed the person was the nerdiest person he had ever met and they kept asking him questions and wouldnt stop bothering him even after he told them he had no idea what it was and that I (his son) put it on the bag.

So there are no suites available?
Is not possible

Can I use the Business Elite check-in if I am SkyTeam elite?
Is not possible

Can I enter this lounge?
Is not possible

 indeed.

I always use BusinessElite check-in regardless of whether I'm supposed to or not. I just smile and say, "oh my goodness, I'm so sorry, I thought I was able to check in here" by which time it's usually too late to do anything and they check me in anyway!! :D

I've had an FT tag on my bag for the past 3 years, and I've met two FTers. Oddly enough, both were in SFO. One was a UAX gate agent (who was wearing an FT pin). The other was a guy heading to SYD for a do earlier this year.

sbm12 sports an FT tag on his camera bag, IIRC. Given my reputation for calling out stupidity and self-importance, I have declined the FT tag option in life.

I usually just wear something that makes me stand out in a crowd:
