I believe I saw a 727 at MIA today as well. The windows on that NW A320 were so scratched up it looked like a permanent fog, but I took a pic of what I could:

it looked like crap in the pic, I tried to do some exposure and sharpening to try to find who this is and get a better shot of it. A 727 is somewhat rare these days at a passenger gate.

What's this "believe" stuff? I heard a couple of them fly over head last night (FedEx) when I was trying to get to sleep. They are still load even with the hush kits.

:D I was just surprised at passenger gate, I know they are cargo haulers a lot.

It must be sleepytime for sane people. :D ALCO is taking off now I think.

Nothing like a 5am wake-up call to start your Saturday.

Got one of the 739ERs with DirecTV last night. If the new domestic F seats weren't so terrible, it would be a phenomenal product.

420 here at the 'quirky turkey.

Was offered a bump at the kiosk too bad I kinda need to get back to NY at a reasonable hour. If they make it worth enough I might consider it.

I am wondering if NW will be offering ticket buyouts for todays flights to merge them to one...just to have a full plane.

The seats are just hard. Give them a year of use and then see what they feel like. Maybe it will be just like your favorite easy chair after getting broken in ;).

What I don't like about them is that there is no side pocket to store stuff, which is handy when you are in the inside and don't want to bother your aisle mate by getting up to retrieve things from the overhead. There is no fix for this problem except to store things underfoot (impossible in the bulkhead seat).

We were talking with Isiah Whitlock last night. He's a regular at my regular bar. Great guy.

Off to JFK now for another great day of flying...

We had to go into NYC yesterday. When I got back (mid afternoon) I was so incredibly tired I could have fallen asleep standing up. Thankfully I was able to stay awake during the drive home -- s:eek:meone had to drive! Everyone else was sound asleep. It was as if we'd all been hit with some kind of sleeping sickness.

I wasn't planning to sleep but finished all my goals 5 hours early. I found some of those air pockets used for shipping(a few large things came in) and I actually slept on top of a bed of those, it was amazing, for a concrete "bed" I was surprised the air pockets didn't bust.

It also helped get me off the cold concrete directly just my arms or fingers would hit sometimes and remind me. I slept 4 hours this way quite well.

US F is fine, even on a 734. Always good to expand the universe of Q-UP opportunities. :D
