It rained when I moved out of my condo both times in Miami.

Seems like it just rains when you move....maybe that is the idea, need someone to move when there is a drought, so the rain will be tempted to come!

Thanks! It's just a local move so we decided it made the most sense to do it ourselves. Of course, my wife will be at work so she is getting off easy.

Went to the doc this week for physical and he says all blood work is good except my good cholestral is low. I ask how I can help it and he says exercise and/or red wine. I went right to the wine bar after that for two glasses and another glass tonight. :)

I apparently have low HDL also and got the exact same advice from my physician -- except she was less specific ("alcohol" vs. red wine). I figure Woodford/Maker's Mark counts.

My HDL did go up a bit the following year, so there is clearly something to my regimen of booze and the stationary bike. I haven't checked this year yet to see whether my HDL has experienced continued improvement.

Don't tempt me. I could probably put it over the edge. I've been avoiding this for a while...

In other news, I need to stop coming to ABQ. They knew me by name at the bar.

I am watching the wire.

Honest to God, it was a long, high load factor, hot summer for travel. Now they're at it in the "pets in cabin" thread, ranting about 300 lb pigs charging the cockpit. And no, I'm not going to segue a reference that other thread. I'm going back to the finish watching a movie.

I'm just going to bed ...

G'night from the Left Coast. I enjoyed an In-and-Out burger today...haven't had one in years and forgot how tasty they are!

Ms. GadFly and I are going to check out the California Science Center on Sunday.

For our flight home Monday (SAN-IAH-PHL), she's in F on a mileage redemption while I'm on a ticket purchased with a bump voucher (L fare). IAH to PHL has already been EUA'd but SNA-IAH has nothing left up front :(...at least I got exit row

It seems to always show up in the winter for some of the FRA-EWR-IAH-EZE-IAH-EWR-FRA flights.

Glad to see it back though. It's always a super easy upgrade.
