;)

I did edit a few earlier this week. I was sober. But the OCD was in full force.

Now I'm drunk and tired. We just got back to the hotel after a very late dinner. Three cocktails and half a bottle of wine… I should sleep very well tonight.

It's a very rare bird, these days.

Yep. I stalked that thing for years before finally getting one last year. It took about a dozen tries before I actually got one, since NW tends to sub in -50s for the -40.

I'm all for getting ssullivan drunk for that.

I added a few tail numbers for you this week, I think. And I was sober. :p

I didn't even eat that dinner, it was a rock hard roll with turkey and swiss, I am going to get some good food now :D

DL's domestic F food is just awful, and getting worse. NW had decent domestic F food — often close in taste to what CO offers — but since the merger it's just gone downhill.

Did I tell you about the catering I saw loaded on my FCA-ATL flight in June on DL — sandwiches catered hours earlier in ATL and stored in the cloat closet???

Try UA's domestic C in their three-class config (e.g. LAX-IAD 777). Fruit plate with cold croissant. Serious .

At least they went back to that after their experiment last year of giving you a Y snack box for free.

it wasn't coat closet, and I saw it loaded in DTW. I think it was still dry ice frozen and the woman almost broke a tooth on it...

but no i hadn't heard the coat closet story :)

The pig story is old but still funny. Some airline also had to deal with a unique comfort pet: a miniture horse. I don't remember the details but needless to say they aren't allowed anymore.

looks like flights tomorrow on NW are low load too, 8 hours out and less than 40% F load....

September has always been slow. There are some flights that remain too popular year round, but you can usually count on September and January to be slow.

yes I know, but 5 of 16 in F, and 30-35 of 139 in Y....is super low.
I will be comparing next week to CO loads again. but CO seatmap is already filling up, in the back.

the olives and dried fruit were good, CO should take note of THAT only ;)

Glad to see it back though. It's always a super easy upgrade.

Nah, it is simply replacing a 762 this time for the 211/152 EWR-IAH-EWR midday turnaround.

I believe I saw a 727 at MIA today as well. The windows on that NW A320 were so scratched up it looked like a permanent fog, but I took a pic of what I could:

it looked like crap in the pic, I tried to do some exposure and sharpening to try to find who this is and get a better shot of it. A 727 is somewhat rare these days at a passenger gate.
