How about this itinerary:

8/15 - 1:00 p.m.: Rendezvous at the Amtrak Club Acela at Union Station. We can put some P Club memberships to work and meet guests who are arriving by train. If more people fly in than take the train, we could get the outing started at the DCA Skyclub or P Club.

1:15-ish: Capital City Brewery next to Union Station for a quick pint or two.

2:00 pm: DC Ducks tour, which covers the monuments, Mall, Potomac River, and travels on the river right under the DCA approach path.

3:30 pm: Tour concludes. Head to the Brickskeller in Dupont Circle for several beverages.

6:00 or 7:00 pm: Dinner and Belgian beer at Brasserie Beck.

9:00 pm: ? (Sobriety probably will be lacking, however).

We could also work a stop at RFD into the itinerary, if necessary, given that it is conveniently located in the Gallery Place area.

If people don't feel like paying $29 for the DC Ducks tour, I can just lead a quasi-tour around to the major sights using the Metro.

I do plan to hit up the Northeast again this Fall. A tour of the Shipyard Brewery in Portland, ME, and some lobster sounds like a good mix...
