Well, 2X6 = 12, Robuchon = 13, July 4th = 14, Using Business Center Membership for free food / internet / office space = 15, Gym Clothes (using undershirt from previous day) = 16. I get there in the evening and fly back on WN , so that takes away the need for one change on both the first and last day.

Folks, I have a quick question that doesn't deserve a thread. Thinking about booking ORD-IAH-SJO. How can I get wife upgraded in advance? Miles, copay or what? I guess IAH-SJO will give me a comp upgrade? Or not?

Thanks

Comp all the way through if you get the EUA/companion upgrade or 20K miles each way with no co-pay regardless of fare. I believe it is series 1 but I'm not positive on that.

ETA: Series 1 and 15K each way, not 20. http://www.continental.com/web/en-US...s/chart_1.aspx

Thanks, Seth: I'll book the tickets then and call to have them yank 30K points out of my account so the wife has an F seat.

NP...and, like everything else, you can waitlist the rewards if there aren't any seats available when you buy.

I remember reading that the aisle armrest can go up, but I forget where the little magic button is.

In other news, I wrote a to-do list for today and managed to accomplish all of it. That hasn't happened in quite some time. The one thing that I put on the list and did not do because it would be too tempting is to go to Costco. I put it on the list solely to go there and see if they had any more 40D kits for sale. Bad idea...I'd be so tempted that I would buy one and then ratoinalize it by selling my used stuff back to B&H. Bad, bad idea.

I had booked a one-way award to LAS tomorrow (AA) and then found a great deal on (SkyTeam partner). I had forgotten to use my free "move your travel dates" option on AA - I've now guaranteed a second consecutive year in LAS for New Year's.

I missed something along the way - on most aircraft, start in center underneath the armrest and run your finger towards the seatback. Will feel like a little tab.

Morning from CLE! I almost ran into a column here today walking down the C concourse and seeing CO 345 - a 767!!!

Sweet to see that at a gate here!

Looks like this place also went SJU-EWR-LAS yesterday. Talk about fleet utilization!

Wonder where they got the 764 from...

It's only on the bottom on the ERJ's, 73E, and the 738's w/o IFE. (I forget about the new 752 seats) Otherwise there's a button on the inside of the armrest buried between the armrest and the seatback that you have to press.

Looks like Billy Mays had heart trouble.

On the 772's either it's in a different spot or difficult to find between the cushion and seat. I couldn't find it coming back from CDG and the FA stepped into help. Good thing that was an empty flight, I was on my knees trying to find the plus for the power.

Nice day for it even with the breeze.

Should I be concerned that my reward itinerary (mix of KE and NW flights) on nwa.com shows 3 E-Ticket numbers for me and 2 for my fiancee?

Mackieman Jun 29, 2009 1:30 pm

Nothing says  like filling out 12 pages of, "separation" paperwork that has to be scanned and e-mailed back.
