It has been several years since I was on one of the domestic 763s but I only remember it being marginally better. Perhaps they have improved them over the years.

Nope...they put it aft of the wings as a door.

Those are one use only doors. They fall to the ground when you open them.

 To Summer School.

Just got my son's class syllabus and the only grades you can receive are a C or an F. ....

I withdrew him from summer school. The only reason I had him in this online class was to improve his grade to atleast an A or B, so that his GPA would improve.

What a total waste of my time. I think I'll send someone a nasty email.

How much compensation should I ask for? ;):D

Wow..none of that makes any sense to me!! You definitely need to escalate this to the bd of ed or the county, etc. What a total waste of time & energy!
They should be paying you for bringing this to their attention!^

I will continue to waste more of my time by sending a nasty email complaining about the amount of time I have wasted over this crap.

I expect to receive zero reply. I did get a return phone call one week later from my initial phoning.

Steph3n Jun 10, 2009 6:11 pm

xyzzy and I can now race to profits and losses on our SSTs ;)

Still two separate programs but my DL status shows up in my NW reservations.

Car rentals are cheap in South Africa, and navigating the roads is fairly easy. Just remember to keep left.

Welcome back, ALCO. Sounds like you had a great time on your RTW trip.

I found car rentals out of JNB quite expensive, actually! Can't remember what we hired - something like an Impala style car - and only later realized that for a few dollars more we could have had a Mercedes!!!

Stop yer grumbling, Man! You know how important the real stuff is to we Brits. Gotta have it! And, why do you have to check a bag? I carry tea in my carry-on all the time.

Have a good trip to British Columbia!!

four boxes of PG Tips taking up too much room. I'm doing the pack w/o them to make sure it all fits for the return so I don't have go to  at EWR on the return and get home hours later than if I carried on. I've witnesses a tea emergency once so I know you are all a bunch of nutters. ;)

I'm on flight CO561 tomorrow SAT-EWR and it's zero'd out across the board. I think I'll try for a VDB. I have no need to be home at any time, so a voucher would be nice. Wonder what my chances are?

I have only ever rented from CPT during off-season (Winter), and have found rentals there very reasonable, even for automatics. Perhaps with JNB you are paying the "almost certain carjacking" premium. :D

Oddly enough, we ran into a couple in Thailand who got married the same day we did, and were from S. Africa (our next destination). Strange world.
