Mmmmm. Giada would be proud!

Seems like we have some good cooks in the Box. We may have to all cook when we get together next time.

Do you have visual confirmation that it is a deer? I assumed it was a deer eating my flowers until I was home one day and say a groundhog climb all over my deck onto our railing planters to get himself a snack.:mad::mad:

I had a visual that it was deer eating all the plants in my garden - sadly, my neighbors live too close to remedy the situation.

David Fay himself just cancelled Round 1 of the Open. Round 1 resumes 7:30 am tomorrow.

HNL, OGG, or LIH as a destination airport if I go the Hawaii route?

ETA - I have 6 to 7 free Starwood nights to burn (depending on which cat. I dump at).

Not HNL, IMO.

We should have a food tasting and wine pairing dinner!

I make a mean FOS (French Onion Soup) and roasted potato with pepper soup topped off with chives, sour cream and jack cheddar.

LIH if you just want to relax and OGG if you want a mix of relaxation and things to do. I'd avoid HNL for a vacation unless used as a stopover on the way to another island.

I hear LIH is all the rage.

Unless you like watching Japanese tourists, stay away from HNL.

OGG is a bit developed, but if you stay in Wailea it's not as bad as some of the other parts of the island.

Kauai is definitely my favorite island.

Sadly all my time has been spent on Oahu or Maui. One of these days I'll venture out.

I'm up for that! We'll have to look at some dates/destinations for the fall.

+1! I'm not the best cook in the world (although, I'm learning) but I love drinking wine and eating good food.

Perhaps we could do it at some sort of cooking school in a fun destination.
