Tough choice this morning. US Open golf or Brazil vs. USA in Confed Cup soccer on ESPN2. Since golf is all day, unless it is washed out, I'll stick w/ soccer in the morning.

I will be watching the Futbol game on my Slingbox. Hopefully it will be a good game.

Good choice! Let's hope the USA won't melt like they did to Italy. 1-0 lead at half time. Wind up losing 3-1. :(

That was ridiculous, they were playing well.
This is gonna be a tough game for the US, but at least they won't have to worry about their own citizen scoring on them twice  , Rossi was born in Teaneck NJ and plays for Italy.

Therein lies the answer. She aspires to have a freestanding house, whereas I am perfectly happy in a condo/townhouse. I've never been real good at or a fan of outdoor maintenance....she wants a house, said house must include "people" -- gated community.

The new guy not only nails a random trivia contest but goes back to Page 1 of The Box for a quote. Wow. You continue to impress, Grasshopper.

I don't know about last weekend's weather but I've gotten the severe weather siren the last five days I've been home ...

Mowing the lawn is one chore I like to do, although on really dry days I do have to be careful to avoid an asthma attach. I force myself to stop halfway through, go inside and have a beer (instead of simply drinking while mowing).

Actually, page 1 was the only one read before going to "Last" and picking up the discussion.

Is it legal to drink a beer while driving a riding lawnmower?

Good morning, box, from the exotic destination of, ahem, Elk City, Oklahoma.

At least I survived my WN experience yesterday DEN-AMA.... now have to build up the courage to go back tomorrow.

Welcome to our great state, please remeber to shut off the lights on your way out! That is not a fun drive out there do try to enjoy. Remember that you can get WIFI at the Texas Reststop out there if you get a craving for FT on the drive back to AMA. If you find yourself in the OKC-TUL corridor ever look me up, always nice to welcome people to my adopted state (unless I am headed outta town)

I hope Seattle has been enjoying our normal weather as I'm enjoying theirs.

It's been raining so much here I have plants turning yellow from too much water. The lawn isn't looking that great either as all of the fertilizer from the spring leached though the ground real quick.

The one advantage to freestanding houses is that you don't have to worry about noise as much going from neighbor to neighbor as much. I will admit lawn mowing is now getting on my nerves even though it's great for zoneing off into deep thought.
