Back to SAN tomorrow. Thank God, I really hate the desert.

Great news about the F-I-L. I wish him a speedy and safe recovery. You wife must be breathing a sigh of relief tonight.

I like your 'summary'!! Thanks! I will have a few hours to kill before my return flight to EWR, so will be happy to have a place to hang out until said flight. I did read that it's a bit hard to find, -- but I can speak Portuguese, so can attempt to ask for assistance, if necessary.

Did you know that there are DL and AF lounges airside in GRU? They are far superior to the Amex lounge (unless you are referring to the Amex Black lounge that is part of the DL lounge)? The UA RCC also is fairly nice.

The KLM Crown Lounge near piers F/G is pretty nice but it is in the non-Schengen area (not sure if that works with your destination). It has showers, food, good booze and sleeping rooms.

Sitting area
Eating area

You should be able to access the lounge with your DL membership or b being ST+.

Looks nice, and we are connecting on a KLM flight to TXL so it may work out.

In that case, you might want to wait for your flight in the KLM Crown Lounge in the Schengen area.

If the CL in the Schengen area does not have showers (you'll have to check KLMs website to confirm) you might want to go to the non-Schengen CL to shower and then head over to the Schengen CL lounge to wait for your flight to TXL.

The waitlist for the showers in the non-Schengen lounge was upwards of one hour last time I was there.

Ill probably shower at the PC in EWR on Friday night so we can get straight into the city on Saturday morning. The fiancee never showers anyway  but I usually have to take 2 showers a day. We are overnighting at the Berlin Hilton so I guess she can take a shower there if she feels like it.

Not so much fun if you could care less about basketball and the Indians are doing their "Doormat of the American League" routine...

Yes siree! Hoping to meet up with some buddies in CLE during the finals. Was hoping for a Cavs and Lakers match up but the Lakers are pathetic.

Seems whenever there are high hopes the Indians become a doormat. When they're not expected to do anything they excel. Go figure.
