This is officially the first time I have started packing 6 days before a trip. With the length of the trip and the craziness of final wedding preparations this week, I figured I might as well get it started.

That is very interesting to hear. Though something tells me I'm not going to be first in line for suites as a Plat given that I'm on a $79 rate.

Whaddaya know? I didn't think I'd actually see any of the cash the government printed up without concern for inflation, but my unemployment check came with an extra $25 per week. Isn't that special?

Me, too. But every time I do that I forget something. Once it was my passport. I only made it to the bagel shop - not too far - before remembering that, but it is nervewracking.

For big trips I'll lay out electronics and camera gear a week in advance so I can get to the store and pick up spares of anything if necessary.
