Hrm. The Renaissance Dallas is asking for my arrival time and cell phone number for my stay this weekend (which is currently tentative) offering to allow me to bypass the check in line and have a desk agent meet me personally in the lobby with the keys to my room.

As much as I like avoiding lines, that just seems like it would be a weird experience. Oh well, I guess I should milk the Plat thing for all it's worth.

Somehow I think even the reddest of rednecks would agree with keeping the fine art of toenail clipping in its proper location, which is to say...not on an aircraft or in a lounge, at a minimum. We can iron out the finer points later.
