Park Hyatt Paris Vendome wouldn't let me book a multiple night award reservation, even with the same class of room available on consecutive nights.

This is what FT has done to me - my first thought was "that's OK; Hyatt will probably be fine with just giving me another diamond food and beverage check-in amenity".

I may have found a good song but I'd rather do a "duet" with a female with that song but they all seem to be either old time jazz or flowery country and I can't do either of those. I can keep up with Michael Buble and a blues version of the song. I could go classic with Bing but that version is too slow.

I'll provide this bit of advice - I once dated someone a few years younger than me (she was born in the early 1980s) who related to Bing better than the modern alternative.

My voice works with Bing but I want a bit faster version than his. Actually I don't like the Bing version. Like the Dean Martin version better. There is a another song I do with Bing if I go that route. Granted I'll get less:rolleyes: by going the Bing route. Anything would be less  than last year's.

Use a version with a faster tempo but as Bing? You have me experimenting with "White Christmas" and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" now ... And now I'm thinking of Bing and Bowie. Yes, I finished off that 6-pack of Molson.

There's the problem, I can't find the up tempo music w/o someone else singing it and or that doesn't like elevator music. Now the Bing and Bowie still give me nightmares. There's another Bing song that I can make into a more interesting video.

Fortunately, I was too young to remember Bing / Bowie contemporaneously. However, I can understand the trauma - it would be like Sinatra and Ozzy together for me.

I remember as a kid walking by the TV section at Sears and the Bing/Bowie video was on and I thought to myself what is that crap. Their voices did not work well together and they looked like complete opposites being next to each other.

Night, Box.

My first memory was a year and a half later. I grew up on a farm and my grandmother moving from the farm to the city was the first thing I recall.

Nope voice can't do Billy Squire., Might have to to Bing.

Olton Hall Oct 30, 2009 11:00 pm

There is the Grinch song? yes I can go that low.

Depends what you're looking for - Charlie Pride did a better tempo version of "Little Drummer Boy", and Merle did "White Christmas"

I look some more in the morning. The worse part of this whole thing is getting my voice in some sort of shape since I haven't sung since 5th grade.
