PDX, or a GEG run?

Enjoying teh US Airways club at CLT now. The one in B Concourse is pretty ratty, but it's no worse than an IAD RCC, and it's right next to my gate.

PDX. I had to change it from the original dates, so I won't be able to get the LAS-FLL line because they reduced frequencies on that route for November. Will be visiting DCA, PHX, and CLT en route. What are the best US Clubs at PHX and CLT?

How about Andy Williams? He has some nice Christmas music.

I thought of that but not this time around

You might find yourself missing some of the high notes these days. :p

I've been singing in public virtually every day for years, but these days, it's only a couple times a year when I do it as a "performer." It almost seems weird to have someone else conducting, and not have to think about anything else except my own thing. A few years ago, I was in as many as...counting...7 choirs at a time. Hell of a way to put oneself through college and grad school. :D

One of my current career objectives is to set people on a path so that they don't have to say that a few years down the line!!

Oh I've been debating with "it's beginning to look a lot like Chirstmas", "White Chirstmas", and "let it snow" As for loosing the highs, I lost those decades ago. One reason I don't sing is that my singing voice is lower than a vast majority of songs out there. What I really need is someone to direct me with this mess as I have no clue if I'm really hitting the notes or just being monotone.

In CLT, the best club is the one between C & D concourses. The B concourse club is in pretty poor shape.

I don't know about PHX, as I didn't visit the club when there (short connection, stopped at a Sports Bar for food).

You forgot Celine Dion, Shania Twain, and Anne of Green Gables. That should cover it.

what about; Neil Young, Anne Murray, Gordon Lightfoot, Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell, Sarah McLachlan, Alanis Morissette, Bryan Adams,Paul Shaffer and Paul Anka?

Depends what you're looking for - Charlie Pride did a better tempo version of "Little Drummer Boy", and Merle did "White Christmas"

Ahh, the Twang classics

christmas is not the only white stuff Merle did

Paris - I put the ticket on hold last night. 100,000 SkyTeam USA miles and put together an itinerary with A330 WBC x 2 goodness. Also placed a hold on nights (got all but one) at Park Hyatt Paris Vendome last evening with points, which largely explains my soon-to-start Hyatt Place mattress run to earn FFNs instead of burning that many points.

Tonight's stay will also requalify me for Hyatt Diamond (four more suite upgrades) until 2011.

Nice. ^

Made me happy, as did finding a $65 a night HP AAA rate for this evening - I'm still spending the Hyatt gift cards I got for a significant discount off eBay so the actual out-of-pocket for one-half a night at PH Vendome is closer to $50.

You could think of my $60 trip to ZRH providing more than half the RDMs for this trip *

* However, those miles went for the F trip to AUA in my mental accounting.
