I'm watching the same game at the moment - room finally ready so I'm now writing quizzes and drinking beer.

Have to confess, I still do let the sot weed touch my lips now and again. That's a big reason I was partial to the Omni CNN Center. A high room with an interior balcony, looking out over that football field sized common area, with the Weather Channel/CNN studios on the far wall, and Mr. Turner's suites on the other wall, was a fine place for a few puffs and a glass of port, without being banished to the opium-den ambiance of "smoking rooms."

We all know that DL 100K international business class award is by far the biggest single value currently available from any airline.

All who fly DL regularly earn close to double the miles that other airlines give and those awards are in reality nearly half as difficult to earn, just as if CO were giving them out for 60-70K. The problem is finding them but most of the time FTers with enough savvy manage to get them when they are needed.

I smoke a few times a year - received a couple Cuban seed cigars as a gift in the spring and had another cigar on my birthday. I have never smoked in a hotel room, though.

I don't blame him for his frustrations. I need a cheat sheet myself and I refuse to read thru all those sticky posts for answers. :D

Interesting commentary but I can't say I disagree. If I can fly on SkyTeam USA in style a few times a year, life is good :D

I had my Chic-Fil-A today but love some of their football commercial tie-ins. I found the cow presentation of the Food Pyramid with "Chikin" (about 80%) and "Dessurt" (20%) was hilarious.

It's a hard life - sitting in the Hyatt Place, drinking beer, eating leftover salmon from last night's dinner, watching college football, and teaching.
