Morning, Box. There was much  at the suggestion that I was going as a clothed nudist this evening. Though, I think the real issue was that I said, "So, I think I have a Halloween costume now." This got her hopes up, which I promptly dashed with the clothed nudist line. Yep, whiffed that one.

What about going as a twin brother? :)

Good morning, Box. I guess we decided to attack Poland yesterday.;)

Got one mission already accomplished for the weekend: dog has been bathed. @:-)

I can keep up with Michael Buble and a blues version of the song. I could go classic with Bing but that version is too slow.

I was skimming throught most of yesterday's post - what tune are you thinking about?

I look some more in the morning. The worse part of this whole thing is getting my voice in some sort of shape since I haven't sung since 5th grade.

You might find yourself missing some of the high notes these days. :p

I've been singing in public virtually every day for years, but these days, it's only a couple times a year when I do it as a "performer." It almost seems weird to have someone else conducting, and not have to think about anything else except my own thing. A few years ago, I was in as many as...counting...7 choirs at a time. Hell of a way to put oneself through college and grad school. :D

One of my current career objectives is to set people on a path so that they don't have to say that a few years down the line!!

Hello all from ORD RCC in terminal B at the end of the terminal (you can take escalators down to reach it.) A very nice RCC and very quiet at this time of the morning. I am killing an hour or two before heading downtown for all day meetings. I will dispute what people have written (mostly on the UA board) about the condition and cleanliness of the RCCs that I have been in. I will have to say however that dietary pickings are slim at breakfast time. One other interesting point is that the dragon at the front desk (a very sweet one at that) asked me for my boarding pass as well as my PC card. I didn't realize that you had to be on a same day flight domestically to get into these lounges. Yet, how many people get through TSA without a boarding pass. I wonder whether I would be admitted if I were flying DL or AF?

My flight on a UA A320 this morning was fine. F had pillows and blankets on each seat (no 50% rule here!). Only water or OJ was dished out and the FAs were especially attentive to anyone trying to sneak into the E+ section. One man didn't get the program and was harassed back into E-, which by the way is no better than a Kenjet seat (quite hard and stiff) yet it has the disadvantage of having someone next to you. Channel 9 wasn't working either :(. Next week I get to try UA F, so I will be interested to see what that is like.

I certainly hope CO keeps the meals and general in flight service level including drinks even on an hour flight as well as snacks (even if only pretzels.) It lends a certain cachet to the airline operations and allows it from falling into the level of UA; ok but nothing to write home about.

Thank you, sir. It technically starts today for me. Sunday brunch for fiancee's sister's birthday tomorrow, and then Monday at 2ish it's go time.

No such thing as an accidental discharge. Why was a machine gun, of all things, not checked to be devoid of ammo before being cleaned? At least it wasn't that five-incher on the bow. Always check the chamber, boys and girls.

As am I - I get to sample 757 and 320 F after not having been on UA in any fashion in close to 20 years.

Morning, Box, and Happy Halloween to all.

I was watching Speed and all I have to say is  - that new track in AUH is stunning.

If you are still a Plat and made the reservation at least two days in advance, get on the phone with Gold Passport Support before you check out. I believe the bedding guarantee is 5,000 points for elites.

I'm doing the laundry to begin a Hyatt run - found a $65 rate at the Hyatt Place BNA this morning for this evening. Given there are five HPs in the BNA area, I'll get online tonight / tomorrow morning to see what's next for distressed inventory for Sunday night. I love being able to support the local economy / service sector / tax base and getting this plus Hyatt points in return.

So until yesterday i've been thinking that CO posting times are better and all, but noooo now my last 2 flights still haven't posted, and no DEQM either. Everything else was posting in 13-28 hours before Thursday morning.

B6 will be accepting applications for FAs early next week. Details in that forum. I am probably going to apply though I doubt that I could afford to take the job.

I think it's possible to do something similar to this with Office 2007, but I haven't really tried yet.

Documents hosted on SharePoint that are checked out and edited have automatic version history when they are saved and checked back in. But I think it's possible to do some of it without hosting on Sharepoint — at least that's what I've been told.

It is SharePoint that enables it. It was discussed much yesterday afternoon.

I wouldn't call what I was doing "singing."

Had another great dinner at Morimoto last night. One thing I love about that place on a weekend night is that it becomes a magnet for women in crazy shoes. Just about every woman there was wearing some sort of crazy heels or such. Really entertaining to watch, mostly because they can often barely walk because of the heels.

PDX, or a GEG run?

Enjoying teh US Airways club at CLT now. The one in B Concourse is pretty ratty, but it's no worse than an IAD RCC, and it's right next to my gate.
