What's wrong with this picture...

It's 1030 at night. I'm in SoFla with only going to the beach (after a quick stop at Publix) as the only agenda item for tomorrow before 4pm.

And I just got back from the gym and am going to bed momentarily.

I'm such a 'o

It's 9:30 Central and I'm thinking of going to bed ...

Howdy Box from the Koruclub Lounge in AKL.

I remember two very impressive things about that lounge: a lounge attendant walking around handing out glasses of champagne, and the purser (or whatever NZ calls them) for our flight greeting all passengers in C by name.

I think that would cover the range of Canadians :p

You forgot Celine Dion, Shania Twain, and Anne of Green Gables. That should cover it.

Well, I'm on FlyerTalk while my wife watches a DVR'd episode of Project Runway. She chose not to chase me out of the room by watching Grey's Anatomy.

I *don't* know it's going in for paint, I do know that AMA does most of the paint work, but IIRC, the MX on 737s is done in IAH, HOU, and to an extent LAX too.

I could be wrong, of course. Won't be the first time. :D

Could be a charter. It was assigned a gate at AMA, which I find strange.

I had no idea they did the painting there, I always thought it was MFE, but AMA makes sense with the big hangars.

Sounds like you're on a desktop - if the computer option was portable ...

Nothing. I'm about to pass out soon also (now that I've rebooked by US Q-up ).

I'm still waiting for my BD status to change from "Blue".

Oh no, I'm on my laptop. I just like (1) her company and (2) sitting in our living room rather than being forced to decamp.

It's better than the days when we were younger and lived in a studio apartment in Manhattan. In those days, prime time soaps forced me to work in the closet.

Or the local park / coffee shop?

Still? They're really dragging their heels over there. I had my comp Gold last year within three days of my request.

I'm old. This was 15 years ago, before Starbucks took over every street corner in Manhattan, and Central Park isn't necessarily anywhere you'd want to be at 10 pm.

No matter what, I'll still need to lean on the Box for advice on all things BD - my goal is a blowout vacation for December 2010 and the number of rollover miles I'll have on SkyTeam USA makes requalifying for ST E+ a slam dunk.

15 years ago, I was still eating four Taco Bell 39 cent bean burritos for dinner (four burritos and a water was $1.66). One of the reasons I'm taking Alli now.

icurhere2 Oct 30, 2009 9:00 pm

Speaking of eating - I'm lifting my grocery shopping moratorium.
