DL is making me hate them even more. This inability to get seat assignments in advance and to get them to stick on DL flights with a NW flight number on the ticket has me stuck in a middle seat in the very back of the plane on ATL-DTW tomorrow. On my return on Friday, there are decent seats open, including exit rows, but the agent on the phone can't seem to get me a seat assignment and is telling me it can't be done until check in. :mad:

Yeah, the online system is quite broken. The integration has to be hard.

Is DL dropping the BizE designation? The new priority luggage tags (bright yellow things) have First Class and WBC printed on them but not BizE.

That sounds like the old NW priority bag tag.

The thing that really angers me about this is that it has been going on for so long, with no improvement. Every DL flight I've had this year that involved a connection to NW or CO has been screwed up in some way or another. I'm shocked I was even able to do OLCI with this itinerary; usually even the kiosks at the airport won't work, so I have to stand in line, then wait for the agent to play with it for 10 minutes, and then call a supervisor, and half an hour later they get it figured out so the system will print all of the boarding passes.

I'm now quite sorry I booked this itinerary with them. Since the merger, DL has done nothing to make me want to fly them more, and everything to make me want to fly them less.

I'll say this though - coming back from AUA (a less than four hour flight that's supposed to be exempt), the DL employee luggage came up first (about 8 bags) and then came the priority tags. Worked in ATL of all places.

Drink-wise (again anything including juices, teas, hot coco, etc) they had FAR LESS both times I was there than a PC.

I think they only had 5 bottles of harder drinks out both times then.
The design was somewhat interesting but the ceiling incredibly low feeling, and the views the touted is mostly of the top of the terminal :rolleyes:

As you say however, a huge improvement over the closet club, I was there a couple times as well.

Seeing the Tennessee Titans (only game on right now in the BNA burbs) wearing Oilers throwback uniforms is :rolleyes:
