Stupid resort put notes on doors that they would have a fire drill today. Didn't mention that during the 30 minutes, they would have a mandatory evacuation of the resort.

Because then I can preview what my map will look like after I take the future flights. :p
I find that it also helps me keep up to date with my flights if I add them shortly after I book them (deleting them if I cancel) and then just adding the tail number at any time after my flights. |

Yep. They fly quite a few routes for UA Express on them, in addition to some DL flying.

So when's your next trip?

Am now considering AC as a method of getting to PRG. Good fares IAH-MUC/FRA, and interesting connections (via YUL and YYC). :-:

I guess that when most of your flying is on routes that you have flown before (like me), the excitement just isn't there. Now, if I could see a map that showed a different color line for various thresholds of segment frequencies (like 50, 100, 200, etc.), then it would be interesting for me w/r/t DCA-IAH/CLE/EWR and a few other routes.

If you don't have access to the routing rules but still want to play you can do it with ITA. Say you find a great fare from TPA to ONT on UA and you want to see just how much fun you can have. On ITA use the 30-day range search, pick the duration and put in TPA::UA UA UA UA+ in the from box and ONT::UA UA UA UA+ in the to box. That'll return results with four or more UA segments. IF the prices are all too high try dropping out one of the UA bits and see if they come back down. It may not be perfect, but it meets my needs in most cases.
Great - thanks, sbm12. I tried playing with ita earlier in the year and really got my knickers in a knot with it. I now realise that CO doesn't offer much in the way of segment running, so that's one of the problems I had. I also notice that there are no spaces between the departure city and colons, and I was putting spaces in there. I shall play with it more now, and try to get more skilled at using it in readiness for 2010 MRing. Also, if any of you guys in the box become aware of mistake fares, can I be part of your network of notification e-mails or texts or whatever it is you send each other? I'm hoping that I have earned the price of admission by being a regular boxster!!! |
