Stayed at both many times and lean towards the Westin. Both were recently renovated. Sheraton is consistently :rolleyes: and the Westin is really sporadic. I've had top notch stays there and absolute epic fails.

The night of the failed Westin FLL Beach rendezvous was originally at the Westin Plantation but walked to the Westin Beach. :D:-:

If you stay at either grab brekkie at the diner on the 95 side of the Sheraton Suites. ^

@gbryan84 did you check the rates for Teh Westin FLL Beach or W Fort Lauderdale. Every now and then I notice they are in the $99-149 range :-:

I just got off the phone with CO, the rep was very helpful and spent over an hour trying to find a suitable award after she called EK and got denied.

Right now they gave me :(ticket is for teh GF)
JFK-FCO-BEY with a 10 hour layover in FCO
BEY-CDG(overnight)-EWR

Its the weekend of Halloween so I doubt it will be that cheap.
