Ground crew kid can't figure out how to close our door. Flight attendant had to show him.

Damn. This guy is in the lav again!
Flight attendant offered him some medicine. He said nothing was wrong. Wait--this is normal for this guy??? I'm about to deploy an O2 mask so I don't suffocate. |

I've only done DL Mad-Dogs in F, and there's not a good F seat on that plane. I probably should have tried to switch with someone in the exit row (after having a few free drinks, first).
Sorry to hear of your . On the bright side, I hear the compensation package can be pretty good if a river of feces runs down the aisle of your flight. :-: We got nothing. |

I'm looking outside right now in Downtown, and things look rather bleak on all horizons (though, oddly, downtown is calm). I wouldn't expect to arrive in Houston anytime soon.
ETA - The sky is a nice mix of green and black up on the North side. :-: |
Apparently there are two CO flights and ssullivan's DL flight waiting to go to IAH from HOU. No one is moving at this point, and ssullivan's Mad Dog has an APU problem leading to a lack of A/C while on the ground. Just a banner day for flying. :o
Edit: There's a NW flight waiting too. AUS ATC reports two slots open to IAH but they are holding everyone to see if anything else is going to open up. Sounds like a winning plan. |

Another poop reference. I forgot to mention during my Amtrak ordeal last week that the toilets don't flush on the train when the power's out. |
Just wasted some time on the FailBlog.

WWTBD?
Westin Ft. Lauderdale or Sheraton Suites Plantation? Both are $99 for Oct 30 but the Westin looks to have a nice review on FT which mentions free parking for Plats. No recent review for SSP. We get in MIA at 11:30 pm and dont expect to be at the hotel until 1 am and out the door by 8 so the only real important thing might be a free breakfast and parking. Paging belynch, and anyone else based in NYC, I just booked a flight on AA 10/30-11/1 LGA-MIA for $122 a/i (using a 10% off coupon from the AA tennis thing) |

I really needed to use the lav so I made the trek to the back of the plane. Not nearly as noxious back there. At least up here in F the main cabin door is open, so we're getting some ventilation. |
