That's a good thing! I gave up salt last year and only use it on a few things (corn on the cob and tomatoes are a couple I feel are necessary).

;)

Do we have a confirmed after party location other than my hotel room?

Well I hope that is the case as I will be staying on his coach.

Is that what we're calling it these days? ;)

Kinda like that Unlimited Limited data plan on phones these days!

One of my nephews has a vegetarian mom but he's allowed to eat whatever Uncle icurhere2 buys. We have "Uncle icurhere2 pizza", which involves five different types of meats plus mushrooms, so the "unlimited" cap is already blown.

I would have the same problem; if I ever developed a shellfish allergy as a Maryland native ...

I'm not sure how to interpret that. Y? A British long-distance bus? The guy who teaches you how to play football?

Yes and I'm not a happy camper. I went to whole foods to buy faux shrimp and I couldn't bring myself to do it. I already buy faux chicken, bacon, beef, ribs, hot dogs, hamburger, etc.; I can't do it to shrimp. Maybe I will after a while but I can't right now. Sniff, sniff. I am missing crabcakes. I need to come up with a a good salmon recipe that is close to it.

Can you eat imitation crab? That stuff made from pollack isn't terrible as a substitute and might make a passable "crab" cake. What do they make faux shrimp from?

Did you steal my cookbook? Or raid my liquor cabinet?

Here's one from The Barefoot Contessa. I liked it.

Did people see the $40 (~$500 AI) fare to BOM in the MR forum? It's still on Orbitz but may be fare gone soon. It's on BA.

I do something similar with canned salmon or canned mackerel. I do disaster response, so I do have canned food "in rotation" in my diet.

baglady,

I feel bad for you, no shellfish, or no fish at all now?

Can you eat salmon or looking for FAKE salmon?

I now keep the vacuum pouch pink salmon on hand ^ way better no bones and junk in there!

A thought - I have personalized labels from Woodford Reserve for when I give bottles as gifts. I just looked at the website and couldn't find the link (but it's a nice touch around the holidays).
