That show is addicting to watch, but for some reason I always miss the new episodes and only see reruns. :([/QUOTE]

Do you have on demand?

sdm1130 Sep 30, 2009 8:09 pm

Oops - I forgot to exclude SAT as well. It sounds like West TX is definitely the place to check out!

And wait a second - free beer at Sea World?!

Yes, you do not have to go to Sea World. There is a separate entrance. Go for the beer school. They do beer pairings and it's quite nice. Takes about an hour and you taste 4-5 beers (probably 1/2 size pours)- then go to the hospitality room and you can have another 2 (full size pours).

Don't even own one. And for office hours I can now wear my Reeboks or Rockports.

There was an article earlier today about US potentially trying to tie their branding to Sully, so people think safety and qualified pilots rather than US being US ...

US put out a media advisory for NYC and CLT-area media, even promising the CLT people that a crew in NYC will shoot them preflighting the airplane and beam it down to CLT.

Also, not coincidentally, Sully has a book dropping in the next few weeks, coauthored by the guy who worked with Randy Pausch.

Sully has said time and again that he abhors the press post-1549, but that didn't stop him from writing a book, nor will it stop me from reading it. The man defines the word hero in an era when said title is far too maligned and misused.

When I checked this afternoon, the flight was zeroed out.

You didn't miss it by much - the OP in the thread in US-land said seats were open at 10:30A.

I really want to go back to SAT. I only had one day in the city, what with being a Basic Training kid and all.

If you were to spend a weekend in any city/town/area in Texas (outside of DAL, HOU and AUS) where would you go and why?

What do you enjoy doing? ARe you propaphobic?

So, I had a steroid shot in the a$$ yesterday. I think I'll have to write off my chance at Cooperstown...
