In other news, the weather forecast for this weekend's festivities in Houston is decidedly soggy, especially for the drive from AUS to Houston for the after party. A cold front is moving through and will stall in the usual fashion between AUS and IAH. This will mean continued heavy rain from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon, peaking Saturday evening. It make take a tad longer than three hours to get there, heh.

I tried, too — they were pretty common on ATL-DFW flights right up until the end — but I never could manage to get the schedule or price to work out for the work travel I was doing at the time.
