I cant believe no one has traded this guy BMI for SPG. Some of you that are earning at 625% should take this as a no brainer if you need some SPG points.

I would have jumped on the deal if I had the BD miles.

I could use this many times in Miami, it is a pain having to wait 2 hours, so I just leave.

I leave if I have to wait 20 minutes.

Just got the Bllue Bell Ice Cream update and they have Mexican Praline coming out in October. Thing I will need to stop by a store soon. Thankfully I now live in Blue Bell country again!!

Now I have the radio commercial in my head - I hear it a few times a week in Middle Tennessee.

Tangentially related to my trip to the Tanger Outlet today. I now have 68 cents left on the gift Visa from the resort/timeshare company this morning:

* $19 of grocery shopping
* Tanger - gift for myself from "Le Gourmet"
* Tanger - two CDs from "Music for a Song"
* Tanger - Pepperidge Farm store - three large boxes of Tim Tam's (360g each, good through Oct 2010), Goldfish, and other items
* Tanger - New pair of Rockport dress shoes after using pink card

The dress shoes were iffy - I was conflicted between Coach, Johnston & Murphy, and Rockport.

Pure insanity. I love traveling as much as the next guy but good lord. I'd love to cover that much of the world.

That's my plan. He has flown slightly more than double the amount of lifetime miles I have. The next 900K+ should be fun. :D

I wish I had all the details of all the flights I've taken in my lifetime. My flight map would look really good.

Alas, I have no details!

In other news, the weather forecast for this weekend's festivities in Houston is decidedly soggy, especially for the drive from AUS to Houston for the after party. A cold front is moving through and will stall in the usual fashion between AUS and IAH. This will mean continued heavy rain from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon, peaking Saturday evening. It make take a tad longer than three hours to get there, heh.

I still wish I had been able to snag one of those on DL at the end. I know they were falling apart, but I still wanted to fly one. I tried, too — they were pretty common on ATL-DFW flights right up until the end — but I never could manage to get the schedule or price to work out for the work travel I was doing at the time. And in that job, the salary was barely above the poverty level, so there wasn't much budget for non-work related flying.

The last L1011 I flew on was a DL ATL-EWR flight sometime in the middle of 1995.
